Many thanks.
I guess Märklin will release the app, as they did for CS2.
But, when?

Hello!

WinDigipet has also interface for CS3.
But please tell us a bit more for what do you need ( or what kind of interface) for CS3.
We know that you can connect Windows PC to CS3 via virtual software.

As far as I know there is not available any specific and official documents of CS3's ( PLUS also) interfaces.
There must be at least Plans for different interfaces quite deep level of Märklin CS2 software, but they (Märklin) has not published those.

CS3 uses LINUX operating system in and for LINUX there are huge amount of possibilities to make interfaces for any kind of processors which use LINUX.

I am getting just within few days Märklins new book of CS3 it contains 190 pages of information about that new device. I hope from there one can find more information also about interfaces.

Well We will see. . . BigGrin
If there is information at least I will tel later in this forum What I have found.ThumpUp

Regards

Jukka

Hi,

Apparently the Network Side it stays the same as the CS2, can't make much changes here if it is to connect to the internet for updates, etc. Even the network diagrams for the two systems "CS2 and CS3" are basically the same. I have been doing some reading in the RocRail forum and they state that the same protocol is used as the CS2.

Carsten

Many thanks Jukka.

I just want to do the same as the previous App CS2 computer interface, i.e., to see on a 22" monitor all the menus I can select on the CS3.

Regards
Miguel

Hi Miguel and others tooBigGrin BigGrin

If you want to use CS3/CS3Plus via PC and use bigger screen, even touch screen, please read thread:
https://www.marklin-user...t/forum/posts/t37308-CS3

From that thread and it's post 3 from there you can find more information about how to use virtual connection ( full CS3 features).

The speed of that connection depends on speed of your own local communication network.

Jukka

It is in this years Marklin New Items brochure. It is available in german and english (with different catalogue numbers). The German edition has just been published, and the english edition is due next quarter. You should be able to order it at any Marklin dealer who is worth dealing with.
