All, for those of us that do not live in Europe, but way out here in the provinces like the Pacific Northwest (my home)BigGrin , when I attend a train show and swap meet, I am ecstatic if I find any Marklin or European outline products. Recently while at a train show a vendor had boxes of plastic HO & N scale built structures. I wondered if there was anything else interesting mixed in among them and I spied a small quantity of "foreign" buildings. I first saw the blue gray Creglinger 527 and then the beige Creglinger 515. Even though they were not perfect they just looked cool. I really didn't know what they were until I got them home. Then almost by accident, instead of doing something productive around the happy domus, while trolling on the interweb I saw a 3rd Creglinger building a grey 503. So in the course of a few weeks I have half a block...if you look at the center right of the 1954/55 catalog cover, you can see them back in the day. Good hunting!ThumpUp

Hello Thom,

Wonderful find and they look beautifully nostalgic!

All you need to do now, is pack then carefully and ship them to me. BigGrin

Of course I'm not serious, just envious! Razz

Michel

They do look good, although I don't recall hearing of that company before.

Hi Thom,

you got absolutely nice Creglinger houses.
Best of all I like the corner building/department store.

Some years ago I set up a small scene with old wood/cardboard houses.

Hopefully this christmas I try to build a 50ths layout with some of my stuff.

Last weekend we had an old tyotrain exhibition in Gaggenau, where we also had some of those builings.
