Hello
I'm traveling for business to Somerset , NJ the end of February and have Tuesday the 28th the hole day to do something modeltrain related. Anybody have any suggestions? Is there a marklin dealer in the area? Any members in the area who are willing to let me visit? Let me know. Thanks.

Robert

Euro Model Trains is not far from Somerset but I'm not sure if they have an actual storefront (or just online). Maybe others can confirm.

Forum member Mike (plavnostruev) runs Euro Model Trains. He used to have a commercial unit where he dealt from but more recently works from home. If you get in touch with him you might be able to arrange to meet him and see his stock.

You are about 2 -2.5 hours away from Pottsville, PA, where you can find ModellbahnOtt, which maintains a well-stocked (but pricey) store.
If you have the time, you can stretch a little further and go visit the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania and the nearby National Toy Train Museum in Lancaster.
The last suggestion would be to go to the New Brunswick Amtrak/NJT station and check out the Acela and Siemens Sprinters on the Amtrak line and the Bombardier locomotives on the NJT line.

Regards

Mike C
