Hello all

Was going through one of my freight car boxes today and I came across this Beer Car. There is no box and no manufacturers name on it either. I'm posting a couple of photos to see whether someone might be able to identify who made it etc.

Who doesn't like a good mystery to solve?

Yes definitely Liliput: the way the coupler is attached is a telltale sign.
Cheers

I knew the coupler would be one flag, hence why I included a picture of it.... since I have very little Lilliput exposure I had no way to made that determination myself, but knew someone here would. At least I have that mystery solved!

Your are right Stefan!
I suppose the previous owner must have swapped the Liliput 2 rail wheels for Mârklin 3-rail.
In some cases that works. Wink Smile

Yes, that was me BigGrin

The original wheel sets were quite rusted when I got it, so I did swap them out for some AC wheel sets
