Hi all,

I had a simple question, which I may be asking a bit late. I recently picked up a pair of Lokpilot V 4.0 decoders by way of the ESU full AC Digital conversion kits. (54630/53631) The decoders that came within were part number 64610. I bought these to use for some conversions, and was wondering if they work with MFX, in terms of any Mobile station or Central station automatically recognizing the locomotive when placed on track?

Not a huge deal, but just curious as it effect future purchases/my satisfaction with these kits. Thanks for any input! Kit review to come once I actually convert a pair of locos. (I bought an LFCM and SFCM version to test, since for ~$40 these seem like a lovely option if the trains run well post conversion)

Hi John,

The 64610 is the LokPilot V4.0 M4. M4 is ESU "speak" for mfx, so it should work fine and register automatically on your Mobile or Central station.
