I am planning to buy this locomotive,

37724.jpg

and I need it repainted and decaled to look like this one:

Volker203-3.jpg

As I am unable to do this kind of work myself.

Who, would like to do this for me?

You don't have to do it for nothing, just tell me how much it will cost me.

Thank you very much.

Hi, you might be better of waiting for Roco or Piko to make this ex DRV100. Roco currently are offering a Dutch Private operated ex V100 this year. But not for the above company.
Marklin do however do a similar paint job to your wishes?

I know there is a company in Switzerland called HUI Modellbau. They repainted and modified a few Roco Re 4/4II for me, including a red one into SOB Re 4/4 #41 and repainted a Swiss Express one into red for me. I guess that the cost of the work would depend on how much modifications and how much paintwork would be required. You can check out the website at http://www.huimodellbau.ch

There is also http://www.aku-modelle.ch who has done some repaint work on Swiss coaches. He did the paint and decal on the small production of the light steel pilot coach that was produced through the Swiss Hag Forum and AGRU.

Brawa has a model of the former DR class 110 (V100). They do not, however, manufacture a version of the locomotive in Volker Rail colours.

Roco also had a model of the same class, but not the Volker Rail version.

If you want, you can suggest the Volker Rail version to Roco here: http://www.roco.cc/en/pr...equestmodells/index.html

If the model you want repainted has a plastic body, I can see it ranging from 500-750 CHF at either Wabu or HUI.
If it has a metal body, probably 750-1000.
Submitting a model request to Roco costs nothing and an eventual model would set you back around 200 EUR.

Regards

Mike C

I'm buying this one instead, no re-painting at this time. :)

Forum member Vardex Offline is the forum's expert on repainting locos in new liveries. He hasn't posted for a while, but you might like to admire some of his handiwork by looking at his posts.
