We're having a problem with a BR 03 140 (37953). When attempting to accelerate the lok with a CS2 or MS2 the sound produces the acceleration, but the lok moves minimally or not at all. It was disassembled, lubed and brushes rods were checked, but no improvement in moving. Any suggestions on getting the lok to move with acceleration on the CS2?

Hello Imagine, I can only imagine you have a motor problem. Was the motor cleaned in any way? If all cleaned properly & brushes making contact it should run. You may have a damaged armature where a wire has broken in the winding's somewhere. Please dissemble & inspect. Photos would be greatly appreciated if you wouldn't mind. What oil are you using & I hope you are using it sparingly? Also check for any bit of grit that may have gotten into the gears. It happens.

The brushes and armature were cleaned and the lok worked like a gem. Thanks.
