Last saturday Herrfleck and I went to Copenhagen to visit some Märklin train stores.

Start.JPG
Me (Håkan) to the left and Herrfleck (Bertil) to the right

We went using the bridge
Bridge.JPG
Left lane of course, we were in a hurry Cool

First stop was CMT Hobby/Togshoppen (togshoppen.dk)
CMT.JPG
It's a nice little shop, but still you can find both new and used Märklin. Worth a visit
Herrfleck bought a package of 15 trees, Heki if I remember correctly.
And I spent some money on this one, 4460. €12

Next stop was Togcenter (togcenter.dk)

This is a big store. As you see in the picture it covers the whole "block". A "must" visit
It has a big selection of both new and used Märklin. But some Roco and other 2-rail brands are occupying some good part of the space.
Plenty of landscape asseccories.
I bought this, having 5 of these now, along with some trucks with the same commercial. I plan to use these by a Coffee factory on my layout.

Last stop was Kystbanen (Kystbanen-online.dk)

This is also a big store, but compare to Togcenter it has much more Märklin new and used, and less other brands. A "must" visit indeed.
Herrfleck bought some Preiserlings for a Biergarten.
I came home with these

About €9 per piece

After that we went back to my place for a Fika and some more chit-chat on Märklin and such

Looks like you both had a good time.
Many stores there in Copenhagen.

Wish we had that many stores here in Washington DC.
Used to be many, but they have closed up.

Who was the architect for the bridge? Calatrava?

No. He made a suggestion, but it was not approved.
I have found this info:

Design
Georg Rotne (architect)
Jørgen Nissen (engineer)
Kaj Madsen (engineer)
Klaus Falbe-Hansen (engineer)
Niels J. Gimsing (engineer)
Jørgen Gimsing (engineer)

I envy you guys!!

My wife and I were in the beautiful city of Copenhagen in 2008. In addition to the great things to see in and around the city, I got to spend a couple hours in Kystbanen. Love Fantastic store. Christian was working there at the time (not sure if he's still there) and he was a great help.

I hope we can get back sometime soon.

What about the prices in Denmark compared to Sweden ? Are there any fleamarkets or second and dealers selling Märklin in Copenhagen ? Do you have any good stores in Skåne ? What about Eurohobby?

Hello!

The prices in Denmark is almost similar as in Sweden.
I dont now any fleamarket with märklin.

Reason that we go to Köpenhamn is the wide range of shops!
Some of the shops are in size with German shops.
There are also quite a LOT of second hand Märklin.

Shops in Skåne?
There is Eurohobby in Munka Ljungby as you mentioned. This is a very nice shop with nice owner. I can recomend this shop.

There are also Modelldigital in Malmö. Also with nice owner. Onfortunately is there not so much Märklin.

Regards

Bertil.

What??? Have you already forgotten the Frederiksberg toy market, where you found your 103 (E03?) and the cars to go with it??? Cool

Z-nerd, check out these two links:
http://www.leksaksmarknaden.se/ : You'll find primarily info on the toy market in Helsingborg, but also on the Frederiksberg (Köpenhamn) toy market.
http://hobbymesse.dk/ : It's an exhibition on modules in all scales, but at the same time you can find many Märklin-sellers as well. Both shop representatives and private sellers. Well worth a visit.

According to you avatar, it seems you're into Z. In Helsingborg last time I visited, there was at least one seller with a lot of Z. Can't remember about Hobbymesse exactly, but there must have been a few sellers with Z too.

Regards
Håkan
