I know its a mouthful, but here is something about Notbremsüberbrückung = areas where passenger trains should not stop when the emergency stop has been activated.

On such routes you only see passenger trains that allow the emergency brake to be disabled by the train driver.
Are you sure your 141 has NBÜ? Otherwise it wouldn't be prototypical to send it through that tunnel with passengers on the train.
A 141 can haul a train without Preiserlings through a tunnel that requires NBÜ.

Tom

indeed yes, in fact I now remember why I initially decided not to do them when planning my distance markers, and then changed my mind.

Well, I suppose all my locos that pull passengers must have some NBÜ built in....

Not just the locos, the coaches too.
You cannot have MRR without compromises. I'd rather leave the orange NBÜ reflectors off the distance signs.

The orange NBÜ indicators look good on your distance signs, but they do not fit my set of compromises.

That was easy. Executive order. :-)

Nice.
I love how we can find interesting little topics to talk about, still after so many years. But this is 2016... so who is modeling in eras where disability accommodations are required but their stations don't have them? Another reason to model a period from back in the day..
