Helo,

This is my verry firts topic on the forum. Sorry about my English.

I inherited from my father a Maklin train. Amoung the locos, i have one 3016. I allready cleaned the loco, but now i have one problem. The bottom part of the black cable that i show on the picture (found on internet) it's unsoldered. Can anyone tells where i need to solder ?

I looked on service manual, but i don't found the cable on the motor diagram.

Thanks very much
Nuno

The English word you are looking for for bobine is I suppose 'coil'.
But I'm afraid I don't know what should be soldered to what.

Hi, and welcome to the forum!

That little black wire actually contains two **very** fine wires coming from the stator coil.
It should be soldered to the brush holder next to it.
Be careful handling this wire, it is **very** brittle and can break easily.
That should do it
You'll know you have done the right job if the Raibus moves in both direction,. If it only moves in one direction and stops when you reverse, it means you have missed one of the two fine strands.
Try again!
Good luck!

Thank you very much

The only wires coming from the coils are the two connected to the reverse unit :( It sems that they are broken.
