My 1978 Märklin BR 38 is a hot mess. The bottom plate, which holds the axles in place, had its screws work loose over time. Now the drivers are out of sync with each other. I worked on it and got it almost perfect, but there's a spot when one of the drivers tries to come up out of its holder. At that point there's a binding point. Has anyone faced this before?I had faced it with a Maxi lok but that was easy to fix. Just rotate the drivers while out of their recesses and they will eventually line up and fall perfectly into place. Alas, the BR 38 is not so easy. Any ideas would certainly be welcome.

Thanks,
Tom
