Looks to be a great model! A bit pricey but surely a masterpiece on the layout.

This is an analogue loco. If you want to convert it to digital with sound it will cost over 100 euro, but still cheaper than the Brawa loco.

Ray,

Yeah, but I do not mind about digital at all.
I just wanted to show there is no need to pay the insane prices put to us by manufacturers nowadays.

For me,i much more would prefer the M version at Euro 80 rather that the Brawa product, but that seems to be my problem, going for Marklin all the way,no fancy stuff for me.

Pity it's made of plastic! That rules it out for me.

We can choose.

There is a Roco model, sometimes sold in Fleischmann boxes. It has a plastic body.

There is a Brawa model coming. It has a plastic body.

There is a Märklin model. It has a plastic body and the cab is too large to fit the motor in.

So if plastic is a no-go, then all three are ruled out for you.

I have them from Märklin and Fleischmann and do not need another from Brawa.
Regards
Tom

I have *all* of the Märklin versions of this loco, but I would have been tempted by a better-quality metal version from Brawa. I certainly don't need any more plastic ones!

It´s difference between the old and the new model of the V 36.
Märklins V 36 are worse with the noise!
I´m pretty sure Brawa will produce the new V 36 with bravur.

Yay my favorite loco. Finally an AC one as era II WR 360 C. I had been waiting for a marklin one of era 2 but I think now there is a good, albeit expensive, alternative. The one from Roco/Fleischmann never appeared in AC in a era 2 livery, and neither did the one from Marklin. (and yes a marklin v36 is VERY noisy, I repainted 3 of them as wehrmacht wr360s)

It is on my list but I guess I have plenty of time to think about it because brawa usually does not meet delivery times I have heard. Also plenty of time to save money for it.

I can imagine that Marklin would re tool the v36 soon, as it is old tooling! Perhaps even in metal with remote control couplers! My last Brawa loco was not a good experience. Also the more stuff it has in it, the less weght it will have. And as it will only be tested on C track. Some of those who buy it, might well be disappointed! It's probably a great model for DCC 2 rail😚
