Nup can't be converted.. Tell him to sell it to you for scrap value.. $30.. In truth, I am pretty sure that there is some way to convert them as they were also made by Fleischmann (okay - spelling needs work). |

If it's the old tinplate 7186, the AMRA Qld branch have one on their layout that they've converted to 2 rail.
I'll have to get some pictures the next time I go (I'm a member of the AMRA), but that may not be for a few weeks.
