What year did Marklin change the 7009 catenary mast to the one without the insulator on top?

Good question, Mike. I have a lot of both kinds, some with the original 10 in a box boxes. I would guess around 1980ish. I'll see if I can

Hi Mike. In the 1974 catalog they are pictured with the insulators. In the 1975 catalog there are no insulators. Peter Cool
