So I'm thinking about what to put on the outside of the door to the train room. Its what one sees if the door is closed as they come in. My thought is a simple traffic sign such as which can be had for €25 plus shipping. Other items I've thought about are some city signs, some platform signage. What do folks with layout rooms have on their doors? |

Doors have two sides.. This is the outside While this is the inside The two signs are uniquely Australian and, no, they were not stolen! |

Mine is a bit self-serving, but it was hand made and given to me by my dear friend Ian Lorentzen from the ETE Bay Area Chapter when I left California in 2005.... The Doctor is in...most of the time. |

I see a great Hag Re 4/4 II from the factory open house in 2010 or 11. Wish I lived closer to get to more of those types of things. Good observation! There are a few other HAG specialties there... Behind the door is essentially the "surgery" room... The "playground" is upstairs...open space no doors , just a light signal (from the Belgian SNCV narrow gauge days) with Hp0 and Hp1 aspects, where green means "the layout is powered". This prevents me from having to climb the stairs to check! Cheers Edited by moderator 26 April 2016 22:46:54(UTC)
