The AR (augmented reality) supplements to the 2016 and similar paper catalogs is pretty cool. So on pages with the Mar logo, using the Marklin AR phone/tablet app, shows you supplemental features from the ability to hear the sounds for a new loco, see a video associated with the parts on that page, see a 3D model you can rotate around and so on. Nothing super groundbreaking in the data itself but the potential is good and gets you acces to the media for the items more easily. I wonder if this is just in the German language catalog?   |
