Hi all,

I have for many years been a fan of the free online magazine Model Railroad Hobbyist.

Recently I also paid a subscription for the TV show they are running.

It's called Train Masters TV and it's professionally made. Some of the shows are made to a network TV standard.

I got 1 year subscription for 55$.

They had a recent (1 hrs) documentary about a new US company called Scale Trains developing their first product (a UP turbine loco). There was some really interesting footage from their factory in China and you get to see from the beginning how complicated it actually is to make model trains with lots of details. I was really impressed with the amount of tooling that was required.

There have also recently been some good series regarding weathering of rolling stock.

You can preview some of the shows for free before signing up.
