...at first the layout was in a shop(steering panel is in backside left) ,later in 1962 ,in private .In the last month I had restore the hole tracks with original material and clean the FALLER Factory buildings and suface of the layout.
The layout is full automatic 3 train action or used on personal action.
enjoy it

Hallo Andy,
Wow, you did a great job on restoring station Zeven (Faller #93) ! ThumpUp
I guess it was a Fertigmodell made by Faller homeworkers.

I sure hope you post some more pictures of your factory layout, I can't get enough of it.

Hi Andy, welcome to the best Märklin forum.

That's a great looking layout you have there, and it seems like it is one of the layouts pictured in the Märklin 1962 catalog.

Hello Onkel M,

I saw your last layout for the first time two years ago and I was totally speechless ... best 1960 layout I ever saw.
The trackplan, the colors, the landscaping, the wiring, the control panel and all the lovely details ... everything was so perfect.

Please show us more pictures.

Yes, that was a great layout however the large rectangle layout that was at FAO Schwarz in NYC in the late 60s was just fabulous. I wish I had some

photos of it. Peter ThumpUp

Hi Andy, welcome aboard. The topic of factory layouts comes up from time to time and even here on this English forum there are many enthusiasts, including myself.

My own factory layout is not quite as old as yours, mine is 0923 from about 1971 and is K-track but it is in quite good condition and is running well. Just yesterday I fired it up and gave it a good work-out for an hour or so. Sadly the double-slip turnouts are very worn and they need to be replaced, but I am a purist so I need to replace with 21xx series, even though 22xx would be more reliable. Trying to find as-new 21xx K-track is very difficult.

MfG and we hope to see more of your postings.
