The main Waiblingen-Beinstein location is still operating. The Reutlingen shop was run as a subsidiary of the main shop and some reports suggest that the proprietor of the Reutlingen shop had some differences with the Schweickhardt family and others suggest that the location may have closed after the proprietor had some health issues. There has been no official statement posted on the modelleisenbahn.com website.
