Hi everybody!

I'm in need of a replacement motor for my Trix 22235. The Märklin sparepart seems to be out of stock, and has been so for a long time. The part number is E162120 (a standard el-cheapo motor).

I have had a look at the SB Modellbau motor, but I find the price a bit to the high side. Do any of you know of a cheaper alternative?

Hi Søren,

After looking at the spare part diagram for Your model and searcing for it on the Trix homepage it says
"Teil unbekant oder nicht mer liefbar" which means that the part number is not known or not available anymore,,,

I would try to send Märklin / Trix an e-mail asking if they have a New number for this motor or if there is a New motor (With New number)

Is there any newer model realeased after Your model that still has this kind of motor or maybe a "New" motor that you can use in Your model ?

I hope you fix it,,, If not tell me Søren and I can ask Lutz when I visit him this Christmas

Hey Pål

I did talk to Märklin a few weeks ago. They said that they could not say anything about when the sparepart was available again. I will ask them for a new number, but I kind of assumed that they would suggest that, knowing that I was asking for the motor, because I wanted to replace a broken one.

Give my regards to Lutz! :-)

It has the red traffic light, so it is out of stock - but will be available again.
You can order it from some dealers and it will be on back order until it is available again. This way you don't have to check their webshop again and again.

I got a reply from Märklin, the motor will be available again at the end of december. So a bit of patience and my locomotive will be running again.

You may try to get this from ebay.de, I was looking at spare parts that were not available at Marklin, but I found them easily in ebay.de
