Hi friends,

This evening the rotation of the crane 7051 isn't for me possible[xx(][xx(]. I press as always the corrisponding buttons on the control panel, but the crane isn't slewing. Instead the raising and lowering the load and the switching magnet and lighting on and off are all correct.
All the cable are connected.
Any suggestions, please, to solve the problem?? [:p]

Thank you very much for the help!!

Best regards
Stefano

Did you check the conytol panel?
It hapens to me once that the contacts inside where a little loose with the use, just rebend it a little and it works fine.

Check loose wiring around the motor on base under crane or check loose in control panel.

Had the same problem with my crane years ago. Rotation motor didn't work properly. Problem was oil and dirt on the collector plates. After replacing the motor brushes was well again.

The crane motors have no closed casing, so they collect a lot of dust. This may cause bad contact on the collector plates. Also a tiny drop of oil on the crane gear is useful from time to time.

Hello,

If the motor works but it doenst move:

It could be that it has to do with the fastening screw of the cranehouse. If the screw is loose or the cranehouse is fastened at a slightly wrong angle it can be that it doenst turn anymore. I had something like that after converting to the 'unterflurantrieb'.

Otherwise check the wiring like the others said.

Hi Hans Martin,

Thank you very much for the useful suggestion. I have cleaned gently the motors and perhaps was the dust which caused the bad contacts!! [8)]

Best reagards!!
