Hi,

On my layout I have a few turnouts which are showing a different state between the CS2 keyboard and the layout. The keyboard state is the correct one.
On the photo "3 Kruis Tr4" and "4 Kruis Tr4" show curved on the keyboard (which is correct) and straight in the layout (which is wrong)
These turnouts are wired to a K83. But I also have two others with an internal Marklin decoder and with the same problem.
Does anybody has any suggestions how to correct this?
I tried:
- deleting the turnouts in the layout and redefining them
- deleting the turnouts in the layout, switching them to the other position and redefining them in the layout
but it doesn't help. They continue to give different positions.

THANKS FOR ANY HELP.

The problem seems to be with keyboard addresses 15, 16 and 27, 28. Whatever accessory I connect, there is always a difference between keyboard and layout.

Did you set dip switches(k83) in correct way...?
Yours keyboard stand as number 1,which means 1-16 turnouts in correct way.

Yes I checked and rechecked the dip switches. They are set correctly. I even changed out the K83, but the problem persists.
Would it be possible that those addresses in my CS2 60214, latest software version, are faulty??

I used the iPad only to make the screen picture. The problem is also on the CS2. Keyboard says straight, layout screen says turn and vice versa, for the turnouts at addresses 15, 16 and 27 and 28.

Hello!

Did you try to invert the cables (blue wires) with red and green plugs that are connected to the K83?

Regards,

Walter

The turnout is connected correctly, because switching with the keyboard is correct. The keyboard shows correct positions, red is straight on the turnout and green is left turn on the turnout. So nothing wrong there.
BUT.... If you look at the layout screen, it's just opposite! How can keyboard and layout be different?
How can I correct this?

Well, this isn't right, the turnout cables are not connected correctly.

green is straight and red is turning. what has been suggested before your wires are blue and your plugs are green and red. you've got 2 options just switch the plugs over or change the plugs from red to green and green to red.
your keyboard shows the correct position but your turnout cables are back to front.

Hi,

Cables are not the problem. A turnout with an internal decoder shows exactly the same problem.
Switching with the keyboard is correct, but switching in the layout is just opposite.
Testing the turnout on a program track (of the CS2) didn't correct the problem either.

Just wanted to know if somebody else had the same experience and what to do to correct it.
Deleting my layout and define everything again, seems a bit far fetched, but maybe it is a solution.

Regards,
Jack

Hi Jack!

Probably this link might help to solve your problem!
I had the same issue, but I can't call to mind...

On the layout screen, click the wrench, click the turnout, then change type from left turnout to right turnout.
