Hi all,

just a quick query regarding this TT. My question has probably been answered on another thread, however I just wanted to know:

the two large capacitators that are on the underside of the TT where the main connections are- should these be removed when converting the TT to digital using a K-84. My thinking was no, because only AC current is controlling the motor......is this correct? I assume they are only interference suppressors or??

Thanks in advance.

I have the exact same turntable and I was wondering what those capacitors did. When converting my turntable to digital using the ESU Switchpilot and the mobile station it still worked with them on.Here's a picture.

Yes, they are the ones. I was thinking along the same lines as the m-track original feeder tracks that have the suppressors on them. Recommendations are on these that they must be removed to stop interference to the digital signal.

hmmm??

I ran the turntable conventionally and digitally the capacitors dont affect the way it runs.
