Dear Pete, Gary, Goofy, and everyone else,

Thank you so much for the advice on Marklin Z.

My family just gave me my 50th birthday present.

I received 2 loco's 88081 and 88041, 87672 passenger wagons, assorted freight, and a ton of track.

I am stunned at how beautiful these models are. They run great.

I had never had the chance to see Z Scale in person. There are not many Marklin dealers in Massachusetts.

I also got some reading glasses. My vision has been very good (20/13) my whole life.

About a month ago I noticed I was having trouble refocusing from the controls on the bridge, to the horizon.

I am a Captain, USMMO. I went to the doctor and he said, " Hey dumb ass. Your almost 50. Get some readers!"

Thank again Guy's,

Sincerely,

sean

Sean,

BELATED HAPPY BIRTHDAY

I know you will have fun with Z scale, I've been into the scale since the early 90s.
Now 20 years later I'm also into HO and my wife said wait another 20 years and I'll need "G" scale.

I'm 52 and I'm the opposite. I can see up close not too bad, but the long sighted vision is not so good. I need glasses for driving my car, but not for driving my locos!

Remember Nev, old age and treachery will beat youth any time!

And finally, Belated Birthday wishes Sean. Glad you've got some nice Marklin to enjoy.
