Thank you for showing the progress throughout the history of your layout... Didn't know that even our master modeler Usta had contributed...
Also, great to see that the "bridge between friends" was a concept implemented from the beginning...
Very nice to see that also friends are helping you with the layout, that is true friendship indeed...

Thanks John for that advice ^^, I'll follow when it comes times to build my own "real" layout !
Mehmet, your layout is built, and it's providing lots of fun ! It's a real achievement and this is good.
Following its construction in this post has been very exciting for me ... with lots of thanks to you
However, one thing I cannot fathom, is to ladle sticky gunk all over these precisely machined electrical parts that are M-tracks ... no way for me.
Besides losing their collector value, my aversion to gunky M-tracks probably comes from having bought a lot of M-track with paint and glue traces all over 'em ... I really hate that :/
My take on this (having built 100s of models at different scales while plying my trade) is to favor abstraction when it comes to representing "reality" or "prototype". As scaled objects, model trains are already an abstraction. I can deal with scenery goop no problem, but gotta leave those tracks alone IMHO ;P

Hi Yum,
Glad you like the achivement...
...about the tracks....I do not care about their collector value....as long as I play with them in the way I like...that is it for me....I am 53 now in twenty year's time I will be gone...that is a problem for the new owner or the owners'....
so you do how wish and I do how I wish....

By the way I have not forgotten my promise to you about how the layout digitalized....
But you see a wonderful visit to Stuttgart has kept me a little busy....
