Some years ago I purchased the German edition of the 2000/2001 Marklin catalogue, because I needed to see images of the catalogue numbers that were on dealer's website sale lists. Why the German edition? There weren't any English ones for sale at the time. This suited me at the time as I only needed the images and my understanding of the German language was enough to be sure of what I was buying from a dealer.

Now that I have acquired a few items from the catalogue, I am keen to see the overview in English for a number of the items. While I have been looking for a few months, there is still no 2000/2001 English catalogue on ebay..

I am not in a hurry, but it would be fantastic if someone please scan to a PDF the pages from the catalogue that refer to:
26350 Adler
39601 Swiss Collection II

Thank you
Adrian

You bet.. I spotted a 1996/97 ( I think), but it was $50 shipped to OZ.. Maybe I will get this when I am employed again..

Okay.. I have noticed something interesting in the pages for the 26350.. I had assumed that the loco came with a Delta decoder, but the page clearly shows a digital decoder symbol (as does the German edition), but the text states that this is a universal decoder with address 78, which can only be changed at the factory.

Does anyone have more information about the "universal decoder" and can the address now be changed with technology like eCOS?

Cheers
Adrian

Thanks mate.. The English edition was incredibly useful and enabled me to understand some things about both locos..

Cheers

Address can be changed with a soldering iron as there wasn't enough space for a "mouse piano" (DIP switch).
Same for E 69 (where they don't even mention this restriction in the catalogue).
