Hello everyone!

I just need some ideas here. We have found out that our layout has to little power, therefore we need more i run the whole layout on a 18 VA transformator with Central station yeah so no doubt that we need more power !

But the case is, i cant find any new place where i can buy a new transformer? every shop i look in its gone, nothing in stock and will not come in stock again, what is up on this front? we need trafos right? :p

I saw that the märklin are dropping a 100 VA but was told from märklin that this was only for use with 1 scale

So does anyone know what i must do or should do ?

Thanks for answers !

Hi!

Which Central Station?
For a CS2 you can get the power supply Märklin 60061 (60 VA, for 230 V).

Tom

Hi Chris,

simply because it is not (called) a transfomer but a switched mode power supply or in German a Schaltnetzteil. If you go to the Märklin home page you will find that they are phasing out transformers in favor of this (much more efficient) type of power supplies.

Best regards, Robert
