I just received my CS2 60214 back from repair in Göppingen where it has been updated both hardware (V4.33) and software (1.5.2).
I can see a large difference compared with my previous hardware (3.1). Now it is with a galvanic separation (so that the ground can be connected with all other ground circuits). This means a different (and much better) functioning with the S88 modules. One of the side effects is the slower execution of itineraries (switch sequencing). For me, as long as the orders follow without errors, its OK.
This also means more available power (not yet the full 5A but more than 3 A).
I believe (from reading Märklin info) that a new s/w version will include also the selection of the "Netzanteil" either 60VA or 100VA and the programming of the new generation of loc decoders.
Below you can see a video of all the possible commands with a CS2.
Now, the CS2 functioning with the "memory" function is much more reliable (very rare errors, provided you don't try to control a train while the automatic functioning). Still a little more improvement to be done in the next update.
