Hi Mike

You can power the points from the auxiliary outlets, the yellow and grey terminals, on your Marklin power pack. This is 10 volts AC.

If you mean the Viessmann 5214 shuttle controller, I'm not sure. You could look on their website, which is here:

The catalogue, which I have in front of me as I write this, says "no controller (transformer) required". I haven't actually used this device myself - at one stage I was thinking of a simple tram line controlled by one of these devices, but didn't have enough space.

Hi Garry thankyou for your help at present Iam build a 6 line transformer with 6 10volt regulated outputs with speed controllers and 6regulated 10volts for point shuttles ect making it future prof lol then im starting on new overhead cantenary brave man me rolflmao .mike

Hi Mike

How many trains do you plan to run at a time? What I've decided to do with catenary is to put it up, but not power it. There are some issues with polarity when you have crossovers and reversing loops with catenary. Oh for a simple life!
