John,
Are you saying that you will definately have the Oe layout running at railex next week?
Should I bring something to run?
Cheers....
Mike.

I keep thinking of that house I saw many years ago in Sacramento. It was an older style house from the 1920's with a full basement. Trains ran all through it with track going through the walls into 4 or 5 different rooms. The basement was full of track which was connected to track in the upper floors. It was a real "train house".
I have no idea how many trains he had, but it was dozens. I saw 4 or 5 running at once using the typical 2R setup.
Maybe the next time my wife takes her trip to Finland/Sweden I'll convert the 3 bedrooms and cut holes in the walls for track. Of course when she gets home, you'll probably never hear from me again. Just silence.
The alternative is to enlarge my present outside train room by another 3 or 4m. Or I could build a garden RR using a larger scale. I may do one of those and stay around for a while. I like the idea of live steam, somehow. Anyone out there using live steam?
Cheers, Bob
