If I ever go to Hamburg, I will shure spend some good time here.

I don't know if it has Marklin trains but it looks very impresive.

They have some Marklin mixed with other brands. I have been there twice and it is impressive. Planning to go back next fall to see the new Switzerland exhibit

I was fortunate enough to have been there twice during visits to Germany. And will go back again when i visit Hamburg again. It is worth very euro of the entrance fee. Make sure you allow plenty of time, there is lots to see and experience! This place is very popular and you will be wise to go very early in the morning.

I went there last year, I booked in advanve, then you can skip the que. The German Layout 3 rails, built with K-track, the newer lauouts I think are all 2 rails.

A few advices:
Don't go there a weekend - there are far too many people. Choose a normal working day. You can see the queue-lengths on their web-page.
Be there when they open and be prepared that it can easily take the whole day to see it all!
Make sure your camera is charged and have extra batteries/memory - Photographing is allowed.
Make sure to book the "Behind the scenes tour" - It's worth it! Make sure to book in advance - There is only space for a very limited number.
I just need space, money and time - That's all
