Joined: 03/06/2008(UTC) Posts: 1,256 Location: Sydney, NSW		In the Marklin book, the 7286 Turntable is the same product as the Flieschmann 6652. The question I'm asking - if I bought the Flieschmann product would it be identical to the Marklin product, or would the Flieschmann TT need to be modified for the 3 rail system?

Fleischmann turntable 6652 could also be used for 3-rail AC in combination with Fleischmann 6653 connection rails. Fleischmann 6052C and 6651C are for 2-rail DC. Fleischmann 6152C is for 2-rail PROFI-rails.

If I am wrong I will be shot down in flames but the Marklin book does indeed say a joint effort. so which is the cheaper. N[:p]

Joined: 23/08/2004(UTC) Posts: 764 Location: Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk		Hi, The older turntables such as the 7186 come up on ebay fairly regularily for between £40 - £80. plus large postage fee! If you buy one make sure it has its controller as they are hard to find on their own.
