When I see Märklin-brand signals for sale, they are always old (used) signals and they are always for M track. I get the impression that Märklin has never made signals that fit to C track.

Is this correct ?

And if it is, then which brands come closest to being "official" signals for C track ? That is to say, what brands are pretty much foolproof for attaching to C track (including switches) and working with Märklin digital controllers ?

No, any of the Marklin 74xxx and 76xxx signals are for C track. Check your catalogues.

The 70xxx series are the Marklin Start Up series signals.

Hi Alan,

Are you sure? On Märklins website 70xxx signals can be found in H0 category
and 74xxx in Start Up. 72xxx are then in My Word section.

Cheers
Åke

I think that the "no" was in response to the question asking if it was correct.

He is saying that all the signals all work with C track. In any case, your post #2 lists all the signals.
