Hope someone out there can help me.

When I operate an analog train on the main track, there are two tracks on my turntable that respond to my transformer setting regardless of the table's position.
This makes it impossible to keep locos in the roundhouse on those two tracks. The other tracks stay dead until aligned with the center rotating track.

I've pulled up the turntable, checked for loose connections or random debris that might create an unwanted connection, but none are obvious.
Is this an electrical problem? Looks like there are capacitors on the underside of the table at each track location.

As background, and probably irrelevant, I am running both analog trains and digital trains, changing with a slide switch as the need arises. Works well, and lets me enjoy my vintage locos as well as the newer digital ones. The turntable itself is of course analog.

Finally, my email has changed since my last query. I have tried to update it here, but it just doesn't seem to save. my new one is xxxxxxxx.

This forum has been so helpful to so many.
Thanks for whatever thoughts you may have.

Hi Maki
The 7186 Märklin turntable has - by construction - only 6 tracks forseen to operate a roundhouse and to interrupt the current when neither side of the TT face them.
Here is the underside of the TT where you may clearly see the 6 wires to stop locos in the 2 x 3 roundhouse tracks

The remaining 4 access tracks remain connected together (power on) and the simplest to change that is to insert a paper insulator and a power wire controlled by a switch
