Hi

I have two Lima NS "koplopers" that I am looking to convert into 3-rail so they can run on my M* layout
By any chance, is there anyone that has the part number of the slider or a compatible slider that can be used for this?
The boogie seems to be prepared for it already...

Regards

Jean-Pierre

Do you have the model number(s) for your Lima models?

the 149807 (early 90s) had a high speed motor. The 1990 catalog lists 600878 (short 50mm) and 600879 (long 62mm) as AC sliders (general parts). For the ETR 610/RABe 503, the part was HL1600/10 (short).
Any short (50-52mm) slider with centre mount should be useable.

You should be able to use the Brawa Silencio slider or the Maerklin 7164. Roco's Flusterschleifer may be problematic as it generates pressure which could lift the bogie off the rails in certain situations

Hi Mike

Thanks!
The numbers are 149807.1 and 149807.2
I should have some 7164 sliders laying around in the spare parts box somewhere, I'll give it a try!
Thanks again for the input.

The Lima 600878 & 600879 seems to be more rare the hens teeth, could not find anything online, except some mention of the part number in the parts leaflet of some lok's

On the other hand, the M* 7164 turned out to be a perfect match!
