New to forum and didn’t see a spot to post parts I’m selling. I have
A ton of parts from a former USA Marklin dealers estate. Looking to sell. Sorry if this isn’t the right spot to post this.
I can share pictures.

The best way to sell this stuff is eBay or to Marklin dealer who does repair work on Marklin products.
Selling on this forum is generally between trusted members of the forum. We have no information about you, your name or even the country where you reside. You have also acknowledged that you are not a model rail road enthusiast. So, I am sure that you will understand that the members on this forum would find it hard to take the leap of faith needed to buy from you.
The plus is that you have pictures. The next step is to produce a comprehensive list of the part numbers and the quantities that you hold.
I realise this may not what you want to hear, but it is the reality of buying and selling online these days.

You can´t just step inside of this forum and try to sell Märklin parts.
In this case...no one here will buy your stuff. |

I'm sure if you go through the right channels and introduce yourself before posting items for sale, there is a section whereas you can sell items: under: items for sale, there are bits and pieces members may like to acquire, e.g. motor armature for the Märklin crane, another obligation you have when selling on this forum is announcing a selling price.

John, the idea is good, but all the guy has is a pile of parts with numbers on them and no idea what they belong to. You would need to know the part number that you needed and ask if they had it in stock. No really a practical solution for the forum, but it can work on eBay. |

I’m in the US In New Jersey. I sell stuff on eBay all the time. I’m a gun collector not a train guy. I appreciate the help. I saw this stuff at an estate sale my friend ran. Mostly all the trains and large items sold but the parts were passed over. I didn’t want the parts to go to the dump on clean out day so I told the family I would try and sell. I understand everyone’s concern. I just didn’t want stuff that maybe hard to get to disappear. Not here to scam anybody. Hard for me to work on a list cause I don’t know what most of this stuff goes to. Any help would be great. Thank you. Bryan

Oh, guns, nice. How much is my vintage 1957 300 Savage worth? Also have a 70s Winchester 1400 12 gauge semi automatic with an interchangeable slug barrel. Both in excellent condition.

Well, there is indeed a huge pile of very interesting spare parts. Sadly, i think no collector would be interested in the whole lot, usually you only need some parts to replace others that have lasted decades. Perhaps a marklin train Shop will be your better option

 German trains era I-II and selected III, era depends on the mood, mostly Maerklin but i can be heretic if needed XD, heresy is no longer an issue.. LOL |

I have a fair few locos, but some have died for one reason or another. They are the best source for parts for other locos. Never really needed to buy spares. Take the parts to a Marklin shop or bin them. Not worth the fluffing around. Or if there is a club nearby, simply donate. Did this with all my Dad's tools including 3 lathes, mill & drill press, as I simply didn't have the room living in a Unit. The club was extremely greatful, there was lots of very nice equipment. I also said bin what is not needed.  It's satisfying to donate.

There is some good stuff in there, and depending on how much time you are willing to spend on it selling it, it is doable to put it up for sale for a wider public, even with limited knowledge about them.
There are people out there craving these kind of parts.
There is a fellow in Italie that specializes in selling hard to get Marklin parts internationally on Ebay, might be worth contacting him.
You mentioned you are an Ebay seller, so why not posting them on Ebay.de as different lot's? I am sure there are lots more interested parties on the other side of the pond then on this side....

I can make lots and sell on eBay but I wasn’t sure how to list it. To me it looks like a lifetime of selling it. I’m very thankful for the people that have had some ideas of what to do with these parts. I’ve had several forum members PM me. Thank you. Bryan.

Google is your friend...
I see part numbers on the pictures you posted, google them. Many European sites will give you a description, and a prices that you can use as a ballpark figure.
You could use that info to make lots of motor armatures, chassis parts, etc...
Keep your price reasonable (to compensate for possible high shipping costs) and I have no doubt you'll get some takers for the parts.

I agree that specialists like Ritter Restaurationen in Germany or coccodrillo114 on eBay (Italy) might be good ideas to contact to see if they might make a bulk offer for your parts

Not an easy one.
If you were in the business of supplying parts like Ritter or Coccodrillo you would have to spend a considerable amount of time identifying and then testing (if appropriate) each component. This may be time better spent doing something else.
If you were a 'hobbyist' of course your time costs nothing but then you may not have the knowledge...
