Hello friends.

I hope you all enjoyed a great holiday season with your families/friends etc. I recently had some running issues with my BR95

Tank Lok 39095. It began to start and then stop after just a few revolutions of the drive wheels. FYI, my first thought was that the drive

rods were somehow getting entangled and I've had that issue before. That, however, was not the problem. I then took the shell off

and began turning the motor's wheel which seemed ok as the wheels/rods were turning without any "lumps or bumps" seeming to be

in the gears. Then I placed a drop of the regular Marklin oil on the motor wheel's drive shaft. I then tried the Lok again, and voila,

she ran perfectly smooth again. I wonder why Marklin never advises us to oil that spot?

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL.
