Hi If you have a CS3 (60226) then you need a Link88 (60883) to collect the first 16 contacts / Sensors, then 60881 for each additional 16 contacts / Sensors. The CAT5 cables plug from Bus 1 or Bus2 on the Link88 and the Link88 connects to the CS3 or to a 60145 hub. If you have a CS3+ (60266) then you need 60881 for each additional 16 contacts / Sensors. The CAT5 cable plugs directly under the CS3+ In both cases, don't forget to fill (tell) the CS3 how many S88 you have on each bus (here for a Link88 attached to a CS3 60226 Cheers Jean |

Thanks,
I know that and Probably I did not explain myself. I have a CS3+ and all the S88 contacs that I need are in place. Now I am trying to creat a Track Diagram. I know how to include switchs but I do not know if is possible to include in the same track diagram S88 contacts.

Link88 has own power supply that lowers power demand of CS3; old/new S88 has no power supply (though old Viesmann does). I combine 2 old and 2 new versions of S88s, without issues. Ben |

Maybe I misunderstand… or those who have answered misunderstand…. But as I interpret your question: Yes; You can drag the S88 contacts into the track plan. They will not control anything, but they will show condition: occupied or un-occupied(yellow or grey color). And you may click on the symbol in track plan to manually set the other condition than what is actual. Typical if in an event you want something to be triggered when contact changes to un-occupied. i.e. Set a contact manually to occupied. Then event to wait until un-occupied. Result: noting happens when train enters the contact, but when last wagon of train leaves the contact. But in trackplan only gain is to see condition. Regards Thor
