I received a ToyBox 3D printer as a gift and began experimenting (with some failures) in printing items. Attached is my first reasonably successful project.

Guard House.jpg

Some obvious 'defects' such as the curved roof but I feel this adds character. I guess the Rail Road company is not funding general maintenance. The guard house diagram comes from KraftTrains.com. I saw a link in the venders list to Scalescenes for other 3D printable HO items. Curious if members have found other providers of HO train size items including general town items and playground items.

Regards
Harvey

Different resins will warp. Some are thermo setting, and some hold shape upon cooling. You can try using a hair dryer or hot air gun then weight the piece down and let it cool.

Thanks for the suggestion - its sounds quite logical.
