Rear wheels don't rotate loco runs smoothly.
No crank movement either. Rear wheels don't rotate even manually
Please help

Hi Malavika
What you describe it can be:
- traction wheels are seized because of old oil
- quartering issue (the wheels connot rotate because of the rods when te wheels are not aligned).

The most likely (if you did not apply force to rotate wheels) is the mechanism is seized.
Here is what you need to do:
- remove all housings
- remove the brushes, and it possible open the motor and remove the rotor
- use Isopropylic alcool with a brush on the gears, the axles until you can move freely the wheel
- assemble back and lubricate

I think he is talking about the none driven axles. They have to cleaned.

The truck with the stuck wheels should be cleaned with benzine.
Are the wheel axles or truck rusty? Then use an anti-rust spray.

I use WD-40 to get stuck wheels, cogwheels and any other moving bits to start moving again. Plus this fluid is slightly greasy so no need to oil afterwards.
Lighter fluid too can help

Helllo All,
Thanks for all the suggestions . I put a few drops of sewing machine oil with a toothpick and left the loco 3356 bottomside up for a day. That solved the problem it is running fine now.
