Good morning all, please excuse if this is in the wrong section. A question about locomotives. Does anyone know of a source for spare hardware, specifically the tiny nuts that are on the side rods of HO scale locomotives? I tried to look on ebay and didn't find much. Google search was more of the track laying screws. This thought came to me as I was doing some maintence on a locomotive and was wonder what you guys did in the event of losing some hardware. I havent lost any yet but I am concerend that it will happen in the future.
Thank you in advance.

Yes Brian, I got them from Marklin. Amazon lists all types, but often the photos do not match the size descriptions, so I was leery to order. I am sure that Piko Roco also has them.

Three things when working on a loco.
Use a white desk cover, so you will be able to find those nasty black screws.
Keep any finished food jar with cap, they come in handy when disassembling locos
Put all removed bits in a jar immediately, don't delay the action as you will end up despairing later.
Very simple rules 😊👍🏻
