Dear All

I have a question about mSD/3 decoders and the F1 function output. This output is usually for the smoke unit and is always ON if used on analogue. Is it possible to turn the function OFF in analogue mode. I still want to use the F1 output for a single telex coupling and F2 for the other telex on a BR85. So I do not want the F1 coupling engaged when in analogue, only in digital to switch it on and off. Is it possible to set on a CS3 or do I use the decoder tool software.

Any thoughts, thank you.

regards
David

Yes, it's possible to turn the function off in analogue with a cs3.
On the cs3 go to the locomotive settings and the Configuration tab. (let the decoder read out, using mfx)
there you will find the option under Formats, AC active functions F0-F15. It's the small circular dots on the line. just deselect F1 and leave F0 on(lights).
