I am new to z guage and Marklin in general. I have a 8805 DB 89 Engine, standard marklin track, a 67014 power pack and have it wired to a 8588 isolating track. For whatever reason no power is reaching the engine.

When one wire is placed directly onto the track it all works fine.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

You need to use 8590 which is a feeder track.

I see. I bought the track as part of a complete set. Any reason it would ship w/o a feeder track and a isolating track?

I'm not sure of the complete set contents ... Part number ? What does your dealer say?
