Hello friends,

I have a couple of questions regarding the maintenance of a BR 110 Mfx (Marklin 37110). I'm trying to replace a tyre on a wheel located on the pickup shoe bogie and finding it impossible to pry the plastic wheel surround off the bogey without damaging the contact cable buried inside. Any tips on how to do this or pry apart the plastic in order to insert the tyre?

Also, while taking off the body two small plastic items dropped out (see attached photo -). They might be associated with the pantograph mechanism, but it's not obvious to me where they belong.

Any advice gratefully received,

Paul

Sorted.

The plastic bogie surround came off with a bit of slack from the red wire.

The left over plastic bits are an internal light shroud for the white LED lenses (snapped in half).

Lok back together and working nicely again.

Paul
