Hello, hope all is well.

A new z model locomotive celebrates 175 years of Swiss railroading. Take a look here.

https://www.maerklin.de/...ts/details/article/88596

Says it has an adhesive covering on the Euro Model Trains site: (like shrink wrap in Z??)

https://euromodeltrains.com/products/marklin-88596

Interesting. Take good care.

On the "special adhesive" note ... maybe for the prototype. But for the Z model - I don't think so. No mention of such on Marklin database, dealer announcements, dealer attachments. I could be wrong, but ....

"Special release" was mistyped?
Special adhesive covering for the anniversary 175 Years of Swiss Railroading.
Should be:
Special release commemorating the anniversary 175 Years of Swiss Railroading.

It has just been announced in the handelsblatt. Also available in Marklin and Trix H0 - but not in N apparently ...

I clarified my comment with an edit ... the Z release is happening. Special adhesive - likely a typo.

So when the description says the "pilots swing out on both trucks" what do they mean?

Cheers

Hello. Just a guess.

The lead set of wheels push the front coupler outward as tight curves are encountered, preventing derailments.

Or just a typo carried over from a previous description.

Take good care.

I got the announcement via the club, and immediately checked the dealers, nothing.
