OK, can someone please explain what is happening with Märklin 39280, Rc 6? It has disappeared from the latest delivery list. Now replaced by 39281, Rc 5.....what the????? Went on the Märklin.de site and it states 'Article temporarily not in stock, Check with your local dealer' So I checked with Joe's, does not exist. Checked with Lippe, you can reserve it. It was shown on the November delivery list (and mind you there was no 39281 Rc 5 on that list), coming later in '23. Has it been made? Will it be made? Märklin again working in mysterious ways? |

So much questions in one post: 39280 It's 2022 model in Ep VI black scheme. Delivery now and April. Yellow light in Märklindatabase (delivered but few units and some shops doesn't have it now) 39281 It's 2023 model in Ep V scheme. Delivery Q3_2023. Orange light in Märklindatabase (never produced yet, when enter in delivery change to yellow or green) Nothing mysterious on it.. Two models, two different Scheme, two delivery dates. And yes. Two models are possible to have a reserve |

The midsection is grey with a black box, so Märklin did follow the real world paint scheme. It’s a challenge to find good pictures though since most of the images are from the side. This one has the best angle from above 🧐😂

But it will be beautiful together with 1:100 wagon set, nothing more or less, medium joker performed, is Märklin..... Fun with metal covers, but plastic parts are not M's strong skills (plastic is fantastic) Why so hard to make something look better and a bit of "quality" control Developed in 1984 by Roco Developed in 2015 by Roco, together with Märklin |

haertle.de it's horrified to see picture when the roof details doesn't fit properly. Märklin needs to start putting more effort into the final results Did they listen when we already complain about wrong sideline size when they publish the CAD drawing Metal cover in all its glory, but the holes for the details become very visible and not pretty... Perhaps the wiper arms on the cover should have been painted Really sad discovery, no one for me.... |

I have 39280 and I love it. I want to buy the 39281 as soon as I can afford it. The housing made of metal is a dream coming true. The orange RC brings back so many good train memories. I hope Märklin will realize Sweden is a market for them so we can get more Swedish models. Maybe some cars from the 90's. |

The older RCs were too light and you had to drive them backwards to pull longer consists. Also I've written several times to Märklin to release the RC with red signal light. I guess we'll see more of these models in other versions. |
