#2#3#4IS THIS A MARKLIN Z SCALE ENGINE 0-6-6-0

Greetings to all, I have purchased this locomotive based on the pictures only. I am adding this to my unusual loco collection even though I am end of steam era U.S.A Z Gauge. This is being shipped to me as we speak. I don't know the manufacturer - the wheel configuration - and am guessing Z gauge. Is this Marklin (no id at present at the moment) and what is the name of such an engine. Could it be a custom made engine. Please view the pictures. Thank You in advance for your assistance... Mac

I will include the 4 PICTURES when I figure out the secret on how to do it.

Methyldibromo glutaronitrile is a preservative.
The big middle part looks like it may be a tank with filling caps. I am wondering if someone made it for cleaning tracks with MDBGN

DALE -- You may have identified the use. I ran the name and came up with the chemical compound. When I actually receive it I will disassemble it to determine the pieces and parts. If a cleaning car - ingenious disguise wouldn't you say? I will post more pics as a follow up. The components should be interesting!! Many Thanks. Mac

Looks to me like the two loco pieces are 8800 Br89 units with a US style flat roof fitted, and probably the front part of the boiler cut off to mount the tank.

Ranjit, It sure is ugly - but in a good way. It remains to be seen if it is a viable "steam engine". I intend to disassemble (with pics) to see what I have. Thank You for creating an image in my minds eye. I will post as I go along. Mac
