I'm still learning about it. I have the big book, and watch the webinars. My understanding thus far is they show one event per contact track or circuit track. Can I program a delay between tripping two turnouts and two more? Can I program two separate events per contact track? I have limited places with enough length to add additional contact tracks. I currently have one. Thanks in advance! Mike

Yes. In the example below, I drive in the same event 4 switches: sw1, sw2, then a 2 second pause, then sw3 and sw4

Yes, you can program 2 different events triggered by the same contact
In this example one event FS7 is triggered by a sensor ABaf0 in this example and so is FS8 triggered by the same sensor

There are plenty of other possibilities with logic functions you can see below

Automation with cs3 is one of my favorites. I am not good at it, and as you say. We are learning on the way…
However;
I have used a totally different aproach to automation then what I found in the webinars. And at least it works well for my five trains. I tried to make a description with pictures/plots for a forum member from new zealand. If others are interested I can share what I have written/plotted. Send me your e-mail adresses.
You can see the trains running if you search for my name on youtube. The whole automation you see is essentially 6 events. One for each train and one to set defined blocks at startup.

I would really appreciate seing that Tie! I'll search Youtube as well. I'm also curious of wether you record events, or not. Curtis or Rick prefer not to. Curtis has done some code writing, so this is a bit easier for him he says as far as the macro AND/OR actions.

For creating events I both write/drag items into the events and I record it. Setting speed and direction, sounds, turnouts etc is easy to record, then editing afterwards. For those who might not know: a mouse with a scrolling wheel makes it much quicker to «travel» forwards and backwards in events during editing. When recording you generally need to edit/remove the time delay automaticcally set based on time frame betwen each action you perform to be edited.
