Hi, I've started replacing the overhead wires from home made to finished bought product., we've found there were to many wires coming off at the soldering points, some were fine and others didn't.

It will take me some time to do the whole lot but I can do it in stages., some soldering paste I bought wasn't up to a high standard and this was the result of it.

So the problem is more with the solder rather than the wires themselves? So are you now using the Sommerfeldt 082 soldering oil?

Be sure to thoroughly clean off the soldering oil afterwards with alcohol or it will keep corroding the wires.

Thanks but I'm not using any oil, the paste I'm using doesn't need cleaning afterwards
