Hello everyone.
In my US trains collection i have some cars from manufacturers like athearn, walthers, Bowser, roundhouse and others.
But i have a lot of derailments because of the wheels, they arent good for marklin switches.
Anyone with the same problem solved?

Please your recomendation on non marklin wheels.

Marklin wheels doesn't fit those cars unfortunatelly

Thanks!
Best regards and take care

The wheel spacing should preferably be between 13.9 - 14.1 mm if you want to run non-Märklin cars on Märklin M-/K- or C-rails.
The wheel spacing for DC (isolated) wheels is usually greater than 14.1 mm.
So, either you reduce the wheel spacing or replace the DC (isolated) wheel sets with preferably non-isolated wheel sets from either Märklin, Roco or from another manufacturer.
You have to look at the end of the wheel axle to determine which kind of wheel set you need.

Hi
Wheel flange spacing is not the only issue.
The wheel width and the height of the flange may cause a fine scale wheel to get stuck in the Märklin frog. In that case the wheel set needs replacing
May be this can help https://railway.zone/pos...eelsets-and-measurements
